Beurocracy is adversley affecting the ceramic industry of Morbi city.
The world famous ceramic industry of Morbi seems to be in great trouble. It is wide spread public discussion morbi ceramic industry that just because of bias and ego clash of one top government official the entire ceramic industry is in terror. due to the frequent excise raids and conflict between workers and the department official, The workers fear police arrest and illegal harrasment by the excise department officers. This is not the healthy sign for Indian economy in stead of providing conducive environment to the globaly competing ceramic industry of Morbi it is discouraged by the beurocratic harassment.
There is a widespread feeling in the industrialst that the central government ministers should interfere into the matter must save the Ceramic industry.

Morbi Ceramic industry is suffering from lack of support from government. Generally industrialists don’t want govt to interfere in their work. So untill the gap between industry association and government will be bridged there is unpredictable future for these units.
